Summer is a native of the Rogue Valley, born and raised in Medford, OR. After graduating from North Medford High, she moved to Las Vegas where she pursued her education in health, fitness, and hospitality. Returning to her Oregon roots she found her home once again where she established her success in the spa and beauty industry as well as her personal training.
In the Fall of 2020 Summer decided to pursue her passion in skin care health at Imani Insitute. She has furthered her education in lash extensions, dermoplaning, facial cupping, and gua sha. Her pursuit of high quality esthetics continues as she is inspired daily by her devoted clientele.
Summer is a devoted “dog mom” and “Bunny mom”. She loves weight training and being in the gym, also enjoys hiking and waterfall chasing in the summertime, her favorite place to be is with her boyfriend, Jarred and their dogs at their family cabin in Diamond Lake.
My name is Ronda Partsafas and I am the owner of Imani Institute of Cosmetology in Medford, Oregon. I am writng this letter on behalf on Summer Henselman who recently graduated from our Esthetics program. During Summer’s time at our school, she showed immense drive, compassion and dedication. There was not a client, mentor or student at our school that Summer did not have an impact on. Whether it was an opportunity to assist another student or take on an extra certification class to continue her education, Summer was always the first person to step up and volunteer. She has made a lasting impact on our school and she will carry the same amount of leadership that she has shown us wherever her life and career takes her. Summer would be an extreme asset to any team that is lucky enough to have her.
I had the privilege of teaching Summer the fundamentals and practical skills of Aesthetics. Summer excelled in all aspects of the program. She is always proficient, confident and professional. I have received several services from Summer and always found her to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Summer is not only one of my favorite humans but my favorite professional Esthetician. She takes time to care for, nurture, and heal every client. Her impact on skincare is only one aspect of the experience. Summer has a gift of making people feel empowered and more confident.
